• Dawson Casting: The kids are voiced by adults. It also pretty much shows with the two main characters, Mitchell and Templeton.
• Short-Runners: Unfortunately, because of the show's lack of success in America, they had to cancel it after only 2 seasons (not helped by the fact both only had 13 episodes). The death of cast member Caroline Aherne didn't help matters, either. Many people have forgotten about its existence ever since.
• Similarly Named Works: There have been two comic strips about spooky schools called Strange Hill, one in Whizzer and Chips and one in The Dandy. Of course, all of them are playing on Grange Hill.
