• The Other Darrin: Toral was previously played by JD Cullum on TNG. For his sole DS9 appearance, Rick Pasqualone takes over the role. It's unclear why Callum didn't reprise the role.
• What Could Have Been: The original script called for a much more elaborate chase through the catacombs, with a running gun battle and numerous traps being set off, similar to an Indiana Jones movie. This all got cut due to time constraints in the shooting schedule.
