Trivia / SpongeBob SquarePants S4 E6 "Dunces and Dragons"

• Creator Backlash: Vincent Waller once stated that he isn't particularly fond of this episode due to its length, thinking it would've worked better as a standard 11-minute episode. Ironically, most fans disagree and find this to be one of the few examples of a good double-length SpongeBob episode.
• What Could Have Been: The storyboard animatic has a few scenes that didn't make it into the final cut, including the executioner saying that SpongeBob is going to be part of his "fruit salad" (and sounding like a Lorre Lookalike), and SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidly passing by an incredibly buff sponge and starfish who are supposedly the real prophecy.
