- Missing Episode: In a sense. For its first few decades in the 1980's, 1990's, and early 2000's, Spirit did not make videos of its props, nor was the haunting community so active online. As a result, there is little information about those early days, and many older props have fallen into obscurity, with only a handful of photos of the store in the early 2000’s and two videos from 1995 and 1996 circulating online. The company has been around since 1983, but even in a video from 1995, the main store looks deserted. Spirit itself did not have any official social media/Youtube accounts until 2009 nor did any of their memorable themed displays exist until 2006.
- What Could Have Been: The company had planned to release a full-sized Beetlejuice animatronic as part of a 2020 collection
based on the movie. It was listed on the site for months as an (unnamed) upcoming item, before the unfinished page was removed. 2021 does feature a Beetlejuice animatronic, perhaps the one that was meant to be released the year prior.
