• Executive Meddling: There was originally a line where Wendy lies to Stan about witnessing Ms. Ellen in the bathroom with a nasty yeast infection (as an attempt to make him lose interest in her). The censors heavily objected to the yeast infection reference, asking Trey Parker and Matt Stone to replace it with something less "disgusting". They obliged, and changed Wendy's lie to be about spotting Ms. Ellen "taking a huge dump" and it allegedly smelling worse than a dead calf rotting in the sun. It passed the censors, and the two noted on the commentary how strange it was that a yeast infection reference was considered gross and taboo, but that a poop joke could easily make it through.
• What Could Have Been: The episode was originally meant to just end with Ms. Ellen actually being a spy and winding up shot into the sun. As the ending seemed too much of a downer that way, the creators decided to tack on the final bit with Wendy being revealed to have planned Ms. Ellen's kidnapping and death (to the horror of Kyle). These changes were implemented only a few days before the episode was broadcast (though most episodes of South Park these days are finished in production and sent to Comedy Central merely hours before broadcast).
