Trivia / Seven Kingdoms: The Princess Problem

  • Creator Breakdown: Aly has been dodging accusations of this since the initial Schedule Slip; while at one point she was Too Upset to Create, she has since posted a few updates and assurances on Tumblr and Kickstarter that she is still writing the endings and the secret routes.
  • Fan Community Nickname: The Adorable Army.
  • Schedule Slip: The full release of the completed game was originally planned for April 2016, but with almost all the work on the game being done by a single person, this ended up being a critically low estimate of the amount of time the rest of development would actually take. The edge is taken off the wait by the fact that everyone who backed the game on Kickstarter was given access to the "alpha build," an incomplete version of the game covering through the sixth and seventh weeks of the Summit. Of course, for those who got in after the kickstarter, there's been nothing new since 2017...
  • Shrug of God: Aly regularly answers fan questions about the game, and is quite candid about the fact that there are some background details of the setting and characters that she has not formally established, since they are not yet important to anything seen on-screen. In these cases, she encourages fans to fill in the blanks from their own imagination, rather than make up an answer on the spot which she might not remember later on.
  • Urban Legend of Zelda: "Princess can't romance Jarrod." Although the creator has said multiple times that she can, she just won't get his confession and thereby a chance to bring his hatred down upon her, the misconception persists. Not helped at all by the fact that that there are mandatory limits on both stats that can get her through Jarrod's date coming out of the character creator note
