- He Also Did: Jellyvision (now known as Jackbox Games), creator of the You Don't Know Jack series, assisted in writing Seaman's dialogue in the English version. Their sense of humor is quite evident considering how snarky Seaman can get.
- No Export for You: The game would receive a PlayStation 2 port and a sequel that was only released for the PS2. Unfortunately, neither game has left Japan.
- Vaporware: Satoru Iwata approached the original creator about bringing Seaman to the Nintendo 3DS in 2012, but unfortunately it was officially cancelled, as he revealed three years later.
- What Could Have Been: As aforementioned, a 3DS entry was originally planned back, only for it to get cancelled.
