- Breakup Breakout: Became a much bigger name than his American Starship partner Eagle (Dan Spivey).
- Fake Nationality: As Razor Ramon, he was billed from Cuba. He's American, born in Maryland.
- In Memoriam:
- The March 14, 2022 episode of WWE Raw ended with a tribute video to Scott Hall, and several wrestlers referenced him during the show.
- Jim Ross opened the March 16, 2022 episode of AEW Dynamite with his "Hey, yo!" catchphrase.
- Real Life Writes the Plot: His battle with the bottle was written into a storyline on Nitro. Hall's former tag team partner and friend Kevin Nash participated in this storyline, greeting Hall in the ring and offering him another "shot" — a boot to the chin, that is. The storyline was mainly an excuse for Hall to go on sabbatical, while allowing Nash to add another notch to his (wrestling) belt.
- Real Song Theme Tune:
- (in the CWA in Memphis): Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the U.S.A."
- (in ECW/New Japan Pro Wrestling/Caribbean/independents): The Fugees' "Ready Or Not".
- Throw It In!: According to Scott, the gimmick of Razor Ramon seems to have started out like this. When he first met Vince McMahon, he tried to show he could play a character by doing an impression of Tony Montana. Vince thought it was an original concept, and said it could work for him with a few tweaks.
- What Could Have Been: In late 1995, he was reportedly in talks to split to All Japan Pro Wrestling for a full-time deal after his WWF contract went up. Needless to say, the Monday Night wars may have gone into an entirely different direction if that happened.
