  • Adored by the Network: In its native Canada, Teletoon transformed the show into a flagship series. It aired new episodes on their Can't Miss Thursdays block, reran quite regularly on their weekly schedules, and was highly promoted. So despite being Screwed by the Network in the USA, the show managed to thrive with three seasons and an hour-long special.
  • Channel Hop: The second and third seasons were picked up by KidsClick for US broadcasting after Nickelodeon dropped the show.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes:
    • A few of the promotional shorts have received official YouTube uploads, but others have not.
    • The hour-long special "Terrors and Tiaras", which originally aired on October 25, 2015, has not been included in the digital releases of the show.
  • Screwed by the Network: Nickelodeon did not seem to care much for this series. It was given minimal promotion and aired at 1:30 PM on weekdays when the only kids who would be watching are those too sick for school, and Nick Jr. was still running for another half-hour, before the network dropped the show from their schedule. Season 1's last few episodes, as well as Seasons 2 and 3 in their entirety, would not be aired in America until after the show already ended in Canada.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • The show was originally going to be produced by 4Kids Entertainment with a pilot even being on their site at one point. However production switched over to Atomic Cartoons for the final show, likely as a result of 4Kids' financial troubles.
    • The pilot had a notably different artstyle, with Gus and Wally having smaller eyes and Gus not having a tuff of hair or colored eyes. Wally also had a female actress playing him.
  • Written by Cast Member: Gus and Wally's voice actors, Seán Cullen and Mark Edwards, both wrote several episodes for the series.
