Trivia / Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare

• Dummied Out: Unintentionally; the tomahawk and explosive rifle have challenges that only appear when bought as DLC, and are absent in the Game of the Edition for an unknown reason^note it's presumed to be a glitch as this only applies to Undead Nightmare and the challenges work fine in the main game. While both weapons are still available to the player and the challenges aren't required for 100% Completion, completing them would give the player access to extra ammo. This appears to have been fixed for the PS4/Switch port.
• What Could Have Been: The costume selection went some changes throughout development, if the trailers and leftover files are to be believed.
  • Some trailers show artwork of John in an outfit that resembles Reyes' Rebels outfit from the main game. No variant of it appears in the final release.
  • In some unpatched versions of the game the outfit menu used early artwork for the undead cowboy outfit, revealing it was originally meant to be a zombified version of John's default cowboy outfit. In the final game, the outfit is based on the one seen in the cover art for the base game (Which itself is just the elegant suit without Marston's hat or coat).
