• Creator Backlash: The author came to regret not having the non-participating contestants from seasons six and seven make cameos in All-Stars 2 and bring the eliminated contestants home.
• Creator's Favorite:
  • Alejandro, DJ and Kitsune are confirmed to be this, given how far they had gotten in their seasons and the latter two being the finalists in Action. Dawn later fell into this category since the author declared her the winner of Pahkitew Island out of favoritism. Lily and Olivia also fell into this on account of their story arcs.
  • Duncan/Kitsune are confirmed to be the author's favorite pairing of the original cast.
• Development Gag: A response to a review for "A Bunch of Lunatics" reveals that Kitsune and Trent's friendship stems from how they were originally meant to be a couple in the original version of Redemption.
• Follow the Leader: The Random Drama Series Series was inspired by the Total Shuffled Island Series.
• Hypothetical Casting: Each time an OC is introduced, the author lists the voice actor they'd imagine providing their voice (though they remember each VA by a character they previously portrayed rather than their name):

• Schedule Slip: Ridonculous Race was intended to be updated alongside Danger Island, but the author stopped updating it since the spinoff didn't affect the main series. It went over a year without a new chapter until January 2021, when the author decided to bring it back before the series stopped being updated on March 5 alongside Redemption since the author had personal reasons.
  • After over a year, the series returned on November 4, 2022. Three chapters laters, it fell into another year long hiatus due to the seventh chapter of Redemption needing to be rewritten among other issues. It restarted once more on January 14, 2024.
    [=Total Drama Fan 14: So, let's see how long I can keep things up this time. That was... that was supposed to be a joke.
• Throw It In!:
  • The idea of a fox being an animal buddy in "Top Dog" was supplied by a reviewer.
  • Zoey appearing in "Runaway Model" was also suggested by a reviewer as the author wasn't sure who they wanted to cameo there.
• What Could Have Been: Has its own page now.
• Word of Gay: Matthew and Steven are both gay, Angel and Caitlin are bisexual, and Bridgette, Contessa, Olivia and Jen are lesbians.
• Word of God: The author has revealed a few facts that have been stated, but not confirmed, onscreen:
  • Several canon contestants have confirmed last names in this continuity, just like the OCs.
  • Between Angel and Lily, Angel is the older sister.
  • B was already in a relationship with a girl named Charlotte before joining the show.
  • Steven and Tyler will be in relationships by the end of Ridonculous Race.
  • Should Angel and Bridgette lose the Race, it'd be because they made a mistake rather than because someone manipulated them. This came true sooner than planned.
  • Devin has a mutual attraction towards Carrie.
  • Danger Island takes place near the end of Ridonculous Race.
  • Like Ella and Gwen, Max and Owen are also cousins in this continuity, and they don't get along.
  • All of the former contestants are staying at Victor's hotel during Redemption, but only the All-Stars can appear onscreen to greet the eliminated contestants.
• Write Who You Know:
  • The author based B and Dawn's friendship off that of himself and his own best friend, stating the girl is the talkative one who always seems to understand him even if he doesn't say much and he's the quiet guy who knows how to cheer her up when needed.
  • The Vegans' personalities in this series were based off actual vegans that the author knew since he was sick of the "straw vegan" stereotype.
  • The Band Geeks, Andrew and Elliot, were based off the author's own traits.
