• What Could Have Been:
  • According to Dean Georgaris on the Fate's Wide Wheel podcast, the original draft of the episode was more of a spy thriller, but was rewritten as it didn't feel like Quantum Leap.
  • In the finished episode, the scene at the beginning where Ben is wheeled to his cell has some dialogue cut, including Lawrence the orderly saying that he'd served with Dr. Mueller in World War II, and a shot of a radio announcing the Supreme Court verdict in Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka.^note Which would've set the beginning of the episode on May 17, 1954.
