- No-Hit Wonder: The band has a very dedicated following and a strong online presence with some of their music videos hitting over 10 million views, which is very unusual for an instrumental band with no charting singles and only one album to ever reach the top 40 in the Billboard 200 (Remember That You Will Die).
- The Pete Best: Lane Duskin a.k.a the band's vocalist before they decided to be an instrumental band.
- Trolling Creator: Polyphia sells a hoodie that loudly insists that their 4th album is just a myth and is not coming out...right next to a hoodie that insists that it will be coming out in spring of 2021.
- What Could Have Been: The band did consider at some point adding a singer in the line-up, due to thinking it was limiting their success. They even mentioned in an interview that Sumerian Records (their dream label at the time) once reached them out by email just asking "where's the singer?"
