• Creator's Pest: Despite Merger admitting he sympathizes enough with the Team Rocket Trio to intend to make them have a Heel–Face Turn, he also admits he doesn't like them. He believes that even that amount of sympathy can't fix how they made Ash lose in the Indigo League, and that they've outstayed their welcome after the Original series. As such, he intends to demote them after Archer's defeat in the Johto Saga, only keeping to write them for their appearances in Pokémon Fire-Ash, which only serve as filler. Notably is that he intends for Misty to never leave Ash; this combined with Team Rocket becoming irrelevant makes it the opposite of what happened in the anime, as Takeshi Shudo prefered Team Rocket over Misty. Also noteworthy is that MissingNo loathes the Team Rocket Trio, so he may be a space for Merger to vent out his frustration.
• Disowned Adaptation: FoxBlueReaver, one of the authors of Pokémon Reset Bloodlines, disowned this fic not because the fic takes a lot from Reset (Merger feared that would happen, which is why he went on record to say that his fic is an Alternate Universe Fic to Reset), but because of the size of Ash's harem (as he doesn't feel like a harem of double digits or more would work, which is why he dislikes The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You). That said, Fox did let Merger do as he pleases.
• Trolling Creator: When asked about whether or not Giovanni's daughter and the girl who stole Bulbasaur are connected to Mewtwo, Merger finished by stating that Pryce is not the Iron Masked Marauder. Neither of them have any connection to Mewtwo.
• Word of God: Merger likes giving this.
  • While Ash will catch multiple Legendaries, the only ones he'll keep are Latias, Giratina and Zekrom. (Melmetal will also be kept, but Merger only counted Legendaries Ash met, but didn't catch at all, as he also had ownership of Nebby but released him.)
  • The Charizard that mind raped Daisy is Miki from Pokémon Strangled Red, and she also mind raped Violet and Lily, but unlike Daisy, Violet and Lily didn't realize their wrongs.
  • He admitted to adding Zinnia in Ash's harem because Rayquaza would want Ash to "get the stick out of her ass".
  • Ash's Dominion Bloodline is the Unresolved Sexual Tension accumulated over the years, given sentience by the timeline reset (in general, Dominion Bloodlines are sentient).
  • While Ash will not go to Paldea in the fic proper, Ogerpon will appear in the Sinnoh saga due to Sinnoh's proximity to Kitakami, and Team Star will appear in the Alola saga because they'd hate Team Skull and the Galar Saga because Penny is from Galar.
  • Aside from Pokémon Strangled Red and Glitchy Red, creepypastas featured in the fic include the Unown King (in reference to the Unown's role in the third movie) and Easter Egg - Snow on Mt. Silver (in reference to how the pasta's protagonist has the same name, Angie, as one of the many girls attracted to Ash).
  • When asked about whether Giovanni's daughter and the girl that stole Bulbasaur had any connection to Mewtwo, Merger stated that Pryce is not the Iron Masked Marauder, in reference to Pryce's role as the Masked Man in Pokémon Adventures.
  • Merger's plans for the Leagues are as follows: Ash will win the Kanto and Alola League, as well as the World Coronation Tournament, and lose most of the other leagues to someone he knew throughout his journey through that region. To wit: the Johto League will be won by some version of Ethan, the Hoenn League by May, the Sinnoh League by Dawn, the Unova League by Iris, and the Kalos League by Serena. The Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Kalos league losses will be to a regional player character, while the Unova League loss will be one to Iris becoming the Champion between the two Unova games.
