Trivia / Plants vs. Zombies: Heroes

• Meme Acknowledgement: It would seem that Electronic Arts and Popcap Games took notice of and acknowledged the Memetic Badass nature of Weenie Beanie and Ra Zombie.
• What Could Have Been:
  • In early concepts, it can see that the game was called "PvZ Cards" and had an art style that combined the styles of the first and second games, none of this made it into the final game.
  • Several heroes in the game had different names than those that ended up being used in the final game.
  • In the game's files data was found for an event called: "Game of plants" (Similar to the Galactic gardens event) where there were new plant and zombie heroes called "Crime bitter" and zombie "Baron Von Bats" (It seems that it would be a event similar to Galactic gardens, where 2 new heroes also came). In the end, this event was never completed as such.
  • Apparently, Crazy Dave and Dr. Zomboss were going to be playable heroes at some point.
• Word of Gay: According to Nightcap's creator, Kevin Hanna, Nightcap is genderfluid. Explaining why the character is referred to as male in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes, and referred to as female in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville.
