- Copiously Credited Creator: The English dub was directed by the late Kevin Seymour who also voiced some minor characters and wrote wrote the last two episodes.
- Franchise Ownership Acquisition: In 2003, Dentsu gained the rights to Phantom Quest Corp. after purchasing Pioneer LDC and renaming it Geneon Entertainment. When NBCUniversal's purchase of Geneon (which has since been renamed NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan) from Dentsu in 2008 included the OVA's rights.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: Phantom Quest Corp. hasn't been re-issued on home video since it was last released on DVD in North America in 2000.
