Trivia / Persona: The Sougawa Files

• Ascended Fanon: While "The Shadow Syndicate" was just a name a commenter came up with, Arsene liked it enough that she declared it the proper OOC name.
• Creator Backlash:
  • Arsene has admitted she doesn't like Chapters 102 and 103 due to several factors, even citing them as her least favorite chapters in the fanfiction. She dislikes Chapter 102 for the massive amount of exposition required to convey Satomi's backstory, and she dislikes Chapter 103 for being very dissatisfied with the pace of the fight scene, though she does acknowledge she enjoyed writing the ideological debate between Gilgamesh and Grendel.
  • On a lesser scale, Arsene dislikes the fight with Shadow Ryouichi as a fight scene. She doesn't think anything's wrong with the overall quality of the writing, but she dislikes how long the fight scene dragged on coupled with Shadow Ryouichi's lackluster moveset that primarily consisted of just punching.
• Creator's Favorite: Rina is Arsene's favorite character, with Tamiko and Yuudai close behind.
• Creator's Pest: Satomi Kobayashi is a character Arsene dislikes, even though she doesn't necessarily hate them - it's more the events surrounding them than anything else.
• Hypothetical Casting: Arsene has responded to an anonymous question about which VAs she would pick for the Freedom Fighters (including the main villains) on Tumblr:

• Schedule Slip: A few of the chapters came out past the scheduled date (normally Wednesdays and Saturdays) due to real-life issues on Arsene's end. Amusingly, this quickly turned around near the endgame, as Arsene got excited enough for her newest chapters that she just published them as soon as she was ready.
• Series Hiatus: Around June of 2019, Arsene reunited with some very close friends and wanted to devote some time to them, causing her to place the fanfiction on a brief hiatus. It ended up going a lot longer than she intended due to things like her computer breaking down and having fallen out of that rhythm of updating regularly in general. Thankfully, she returned a month later to finish the fanfiction.
