• The 'Verse: According to Word of God, the story takes place in the same 'verse as two other stories he's writing, involving Harry Potter and Kim Possible, though they're each set in different time periods.
  • In That Which Bleeds (II), the presence of a cursed sword named Hina Blade, later discovered to be possessed by a Wraith^note Ghosts in the traditional sense within the Nasuverse, souls of the dead that haunt places or items related to their Unfinished Business born from a blacksmith of the Urashima family buried alive by his own peers during the Sengoku Period, implies some connection with Love Hina. Given this element's importance to the plot of the Misaki City Story Arc and the namedropping of Noriyasu Seta, it's been speculated that this isn't just a Shout-Out to the later series and that Path of the King and Promises of a Wandering Hero, another of Neoalfa's Fate/stay night crossovers, are in fact Alternate Universes of each other and both versions of Shirou share the same backstory. Word of God later confirms this in a spoiler forum thread.
• What Could Have Been: Word of God mentioned that there was a plan for a short Crossover Story Arc where Shirou goes to Roanapur to rescue Yukiko after her captors sold her.
