- "Aitsu" (the name of the red stickman) roughly translates to "That Guy Over There". "Soitsu" is "That Guy". "Koitsu" is "This Guy", and "Doitsu" is "Who".
- The first stage of Gokujou Parodius features the marquee of something called "Circo Porto
◊". It was an actual, if short-lived, chain of arcade and entertainment facilities owned by Konami in the early Nineties. It appears in a scant few other Konami games including Ganbare Goemon. - Executive Meddling: The Parodius Portable ports of the games replace some of the licensed music covers due to issues involving with re-obtaining the rights to them.
- No Export for You: Japan has it, Europe has most of them, but none of the series made it to the US.
