• In Parodius Da! the final boss says "I am strong!" Unfortunately for him, he is a parody of Gradius final bosses, so he isn't.
• In the very first stage of Gokujou Parodius, you see a Konami marquee being hauled in and dropped. Said marquee can kill you as it is being dropped.
• In Stage 4, the High-Speed Zone equivalent of Gokujou Parodius, you pass by a cliffside with warning signs. The first is an avalanche warning sign - rocks fall shortly after you see it. The second is a deer crossing sign - after you see it, deer fall from the above. The last sign features nothing but an exclamation point - what hazard comes after a sign like that? Why, giant falling exclamation points, of course!
