• Creator Backlash: According to Greg Duffell, Tex Avery was not fond of this cartoon in his later years, presumably because it was so devoid of his trademark humor (barring a few of the gags during the dream sequence) and his dislike of Warner Bros.' mandate of having to build an entire cartoon around a specific song number.
• Uncredited Role: For reasons unknown, this is the only Warner Bros. cartoon where none of the principal crew are credited. Only Leodora Congdon, the art director, is given a credit.
