- Development Gag: An unintentional one. According to the Persona 5 Artbook, the creative team considered making Makoto and Akechi siblings, and Word of God describes this version of the characters as having a brother-sister like relationship. The author did not know about What Could Have Been until someone in the comments section pointed it out.
- Series Hiatus: In July 2018
the author put the story on hiatus due to her personal life and feeling like she needs a break from the Persona series for a while. On April 11, 2020, after nearly two years, FlOrangey returned to the story. - What Could Have Been: Goro Akechi initially was not going to be in this story until the author changed her mind.
