• Completely Different Title: The original title is Jubei Ninpucho, meaning "Jubei's Ninja Pledge". It was changed to Ninja Scroll in English to make it catchier.
• Creator Cameo: The English dub's ADR Director, Kevin Seymour, provided the voices of Tessai and Shijima and also doubled a pickup line as Dokuan that his main actor didn't get to.
• The Other Darrin: Kevin Seymour doubled a line as Dokuan that Stephen Apostolina was unavailable to record.
