• Absurdly Short Production Time: With six weeks to go before the start of shooting, the Wachowskis (who produced) decided the script needed to be completely revised. J. Michael Straczynski was hired to rewrite the script from start to finish, which he did over two and a half days. The script was approved and sent to both actors and production later that week.
