• Money, Dear Boy:
  • Jo mentioned that comics featuring DOTA2 and Hearthstone got the most hits, and thus make more money via ad revenue. He doesn't want the comic to become all DOTA2 but admits that not making those comics means less money for him.
  • Also the reason he turned away from story arcs in general toward general gamer humor. Story arcs are entertaining, but take much more time to draw and don't attract as many hits.
• Real Life Writes the Plot: Humorously, who Jo decided to add Samus as "Zamus" to the cast, this was about the time of Nintendo's divisie C&D of AM2R and the lackluster release of Federation Force. However not long after she joined was when Nintendo announced Metroid Prime 4 and the Samus Returns remake. So of course Jo had to drop Samus from the cast, though incorporated some story with Samus reluctant to return until Angie convinced her to continue her career.
