• Creator Breakdown: The Asprin novels suffered an eight-year hiatus, mostly because a prolonged dispute with the IRS meant that Robert wouldn't have seen a dime of the profits if he had written any new ones during that period. Also, Asprin started the series in the first place to offset how his work on the bitterly-dystopian The Cold Cash War was making him depressed and paranoid, so he needed some lighthearted comedy for contrast.
• Follow the Leader: Doubly Subverted, while the first novel was written before Piers Anthony started Xanth, it wasn't until Xanth proved a hit that the publisher was interested in actually picking up Myth Adventures as a series.
• Outlived Its Creator: As noted on the main page, Nye produced a couple more novels in the series following Asprin's death.
