Trivia / My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale

Go To

  • Ascended Fanon: Alphabittle/Queen Haven was a popular ship among the fandom ever since A New Generation was released. "Mare Family, Mare Problems" made this pairing canon, revealing that the two have been dating for some time.
    • Another popular ship was Jazz Hooves/Rocky Riff which was made canon in "Jazz Hearts Rocky", where the two officially become a couple.
  • Content Leak:
    • Technically, since it's a mistake from the official channel. A single day before the release of the series, the first three episodes were uploaded sporadically in Japanese, Korean, Greek, Malay, and Finnish; it was confirmed to be accidental since they were made private later to be public the next day.
    • The episode "Pippsqueaks Forever" was published on the Norwegian channel a few days before its intended release, and was never taken down.
  • Contest Winner Cameo: A contest was held in Sweden in 2022 where people could draw a pony for the chance to have it appear in a episode in 2023. The winner ended up being this pony.
  • The Other Darrin: None of the main voice cast from the film returned for the post-film franchise: instead, voice recording moved to Toronto, Canada from now on. Mostly averted in the foreign dubs, which have the cast from the film reprise their roles.
  • Out of Order: The episodes are not being released in their production order. After "A Game Is Ahoof", the My Little Pony Official YouTube channel added numbers to the thumbnail of the videos to indicate the correct order.
  • Schedule Slip:
    • The episode "Sunny-Day Dinners" had a few animation errors: it was published on May 19 for 40 minutes before being taken down. It was republished 4 hours later, with most of the errors being fixed.
    • The international versions of this episode were deleted alongside the original, except those that did not feature the exact words "My Little Pony" in their title (so non-Latin languages and Vietnamese). When the dubs were being reuploaded, they did the same for these dubs and kept the original videos for them up.
  • The Shelf of Movie Languishment: The series is currently being released this way as new episodes now only pop up once every two weeks, and all those that were released as late as August 2023 all have a 2022 copyright date.
  • What Could Have Been: As seen on this page, many different art styles were considered for Tell Your Tale before going through with it's current one.
