Trivia / Mr. Fuji

• Fake Nationality: Fuji is actually from Hawaii, as attested by his real-life friendship with Don Muraco (a wrestler Fuji managed during the 1980s). He also can be seen reacting emotionally (briefly) when then WWF Heavyweight Champion Bob Backlund greets Peter Maivia's widow during a televised Madison Square Garden event in late 1982; Maivia, also from Hawaii, had died just weeks earlier.
