No Dub for You: The Mayfly of Space OVA didn't get foreign dubs made.
No Export for You: The manga/novel versions were not widely released outside of Japan.
American releases of the film do not include the original 2.0 Japanese audio. The 5.1 redub from the 2000s is the only version included.
Playing Against Type: Akio Ōtsuka voices Solid Snake, a character who disarms mechs with nukes, now voices a character who pilots a mech with a nuke warhead. This is the second time he plays such a character after playing as Big Boss, who has threatened to use a mech with a nuke warhead.
Kirk Thornton doesn't usually play bad guy roles like Gato. He's usually the nice guy or at the very least, someone who may operate as an anti-hero.
Star-Making Role: Zigzagged with Jacob Wheeler. He's known in the various Gundam fan communities for singing "Magic" when he was living in Tokyo in the 90s. He later dropped out of singing, and later acting, due to the need to provide for his growing family and not being able to get additional work at the time. While he did odd jobs like being a travel agent and stockbroker, Jacob took up photography and wrote screenplays and poems before he came back full time to acting and singing in New York, where he lives.

Although Yoshiyuki Tomino didn't direct the OVA, he helped write the plot. And it shows.
Super Robot Wars: Appears in quite a number of SRW games, starting with Super Robot Wars 3 on SNES and lasting into the PlayStation 2 era. In most appearances, the GP-02 gets stolen by someone, though not always by Gato.
