- What Could Have Been:
- MMA promotion DEEP was interested in hosting a "Pancrase vs. RINGS" match between Suzuki and either Kiyoshi Tamura or Wataru Sakata at one of its first events, but negotiations failed, as Tamura turned down the offer for money issues and Suzuki though Sakata was too bad of a replacement. Masakatsu Funaki offered Yoshiki Takahashi instead of Suzuki, but Pancrase chairman Masami Ozaki vetoed it.
- Suzuki was booked to appear on two PPVs of Game Changer Wrestling in 2020: Josh Barnett's Bloodsport and Joey Janela's Spring Break.note Unfortunately, the COVID-19 Pandemic forced GCW to postpone all their events. While he never faced off against Orange Cassidy, Suzuki was able to do a month-long United States tour in 2021 which included stops in GCW, AEW, and Glory Pro among others.
