Trivia / Metroid: Third Derivative

• Missing Episode: There are three missing comics. One episode was an introduction of Dark Samus done as a Shout-Out to the SA-X's reveal in Metroid Fusion. The other two were the last two comics Reynard updated with, but were lost due to Dave not having them archived when he archived the comic due to lack of updates from Reynard.
• Recycled Script: Kind of. There was a manga that was never brought Stateside that featured Samus traveling with a companion named Joey. However, whereas in that manga, Joey was a human kid Samus picked up and ended up coming into his own, here Joey is a Space Pirate who just tags along and Samus eventually gets used to him.
