  • Limited Special Collector's Ultimate Edition: The vinyl version. There's around ~20,000 known to be pressed.
    • The 2012 reissue. The Deluxe edition includes 64 new tracks spread over 3 bonus discs, a DVD with live material, two books with containing personal notes, lyrics, photos, essays, et. al, and a Decoupage kit to create your own cover. Counting the DVD, the running time of the album is increased from just over two hours to more than seven. While this seems like a ton of bonus content, there was even more in the Adore (running time increases by almost eight hours) and "The Aeroplane Flies High" (running time increases by over five and a half hours) reissues.
  • Real-Life Relative: Tom Kenny and his wife Jill Talley play the couple in the video for "Tonight, Tonight."
  • Reality Subtext: One can interpret the lyrics of certain songs ('X.Y.U.', 'Bodies', 'Fuck You') to be about Billy's marriage to his wife Chris Fabian, whom he divorced near the end of the tour for this album. This interpretation isn't so far-fetched since Billy at one point stated that some of the lyrics to Siamese Dream came from a Creator Breakdown as he had temporarily separated from her (then his girlfriend) during the recording sessions.
  • What Could Have Been: Owing to the massive number of B-sides the sessions for this album produced, nearly every Smashing Pumpkins fan is going to have songs they wish had been included on the album proper. Particularly popular choices include "Set the Ray to Jerry", "Rotten Apples", "Medellia of the Gray Skies", "Cherry", "Ugly", "Jupiter's Lament", and "The Aeroplane Flies High (Turns Left, Looks Right)". Several of these eventually were included in some form on bonus discs of the reissue.
