- Directed by Cast Member: In addition to voicing Innocent Zero, Jalen K. Cassell also directs the dub for Season 2.
- Dueling Shows: The first season of the anime concluded five days before the series premiere of Reign of the Seven Spellblades, which similarly has a Wizarding School setting that drew a lot of Harry Potter comparisons, though it's more of a Dark Fantasy Teen Drama than this series.
- Executive Meddling: Lemon being a part of the main cast was an enforced example of The Smurfette Principle. Originally, the author wanted to make an all-boys main cast, but he wasn't used to drawing girls and created Lemon at the behest of his then-editor.
- What Could Have Been:
- Yūki Kaji at first auditioned for Finn, but auditioned for Rayne as well to test his wide range of voice, and eventually got the role of the latter. Reiji Kawashima got the role of Finn instead.
- Takuya Eguchi wanted to have a more "calmer" role as his role mostly consisted of Plucky Comic Relief, but got the role of Dot.
- Originally, the author wanted to make an all-boys main cast, but added Lemon at the behest of their author. See Executive Meddling above.
