- Cash-Cow Franchise: Uno, Phase 10, and Skip-Bo in descending order. Uno in particular holds the most variants, has multiple licensed themes, is often sold in bundle packs with other Mattel card games, and has a sequel (47 years later, but still). Understandably, this is why the Makers of Uno moniker exists in the first place.
- Channel Hop:
- Most games are purchased from another company. Phase 10 was originally owned by Fundex since 1982 before Mattel bought the rights in 2010.
- When Mattel bought International Games, Inc. in 1992, only Uno and Skip-Bo were kept being sold in stores.
- The game Rage (previously owned by IGI, Fundex, and Mattel) is currently published by Ideal.
- Similarly Named Works: Mattel's DOS and Legend's DOS!: Twice the fun of UNO were both released on 2017. Bizarrely, a previous card game by Games to Remember called Dos: Twice the Fun came out in 2000.
