Trivia / Majikoi! Love Me Seriously!

Go To

  • All-Star Cast: In terms of voice acting, Majikoi is comprised almost entirely of very popular names including the likes of Joji Nakata, Yuu Asakawa and Norio Wakamoto.
  • Completely Different Title: The anime's English-language title is Majikoi — Oh! Samurai Girls!.
  • Creator Couple: Voice actors Andrew Love and Emily Neves were married at the time of the anime's 2012 release; the former voiced Hideo Kuki and the latter voiced Yuki Mayuzumi. They have since divorced.
  • Directed by Cast Member: In the anime's English dub, Chris Ayres and John Swasey were the ADR directors and as well as the respective voices of Jun Inoue and Tesshin Kawakami.
  • Fake Nationality: In the anime's English dub, Chris is a German played by an American, a Tiffany Grant specialty.
  • Ink-Suit Actor: The prime minister looks suspiciously like his voice actor, Norio Wakamoto.
  • The Other Darrin:
    • When characters like the Koppou captain, Kyougoku, Stacy and Lee became supporting characters in S rather than just extra they all got new voice actors. Better ones, generally.
    • In the first Majikoi fandisc, Mayucchi's voice actress, Yūko Gotō, was clearly having problems with her throat and was temporarily replaced for the A-2 fandisc. The stand-in VA, Eri Sendai, had a similar voice but tended to fall flat on the delivery of many lines, especially Matsukaze's. However, it didn't matter much since she had little relevance in that release. However Minato-Soft plans to re-record her lines with her original voice actress in a package version. Eri Sendai eventually got cast as Sheila Colombo in A-3.
  • Real-Life Relative: In the English dub, the late Chris Ayres voiced Jun Inoue and his younger brother Greg Ayres voiced Shoichi Kazama.
