Trivia / Mad Monster Party?

Go To

  • Acting for Two: Allen Swift voiced all the characters with the exceptions of Baron von Frankenstein, Francesca and the Monster's Mate.
  • Executive Meddling: The film was originally released through Embassy Pictures, whose executives insisted to director Jules Bass that the film was too short for a feature — hence the added scenes of the corpse flying corps and Chef Mafia Machiavelli.
  • Writing Around Trademarks: Most of the other monsters (Frankenstein's Monster, Dracula, etc.) had been around long enough that copyright wasn't an issue but King Kong is referred to as "It" throughout the film because the name "King Kong" wasn't public domain.
