Trivia / Lupin III: The First

• Celebrity Voice Actor: In the Japanese release, Laetitia is voiced by actress/model Suzu Hirose, Lambert is played by actor/theater director Kōtarō Yoshida and Gerard is voiced by actor Tatsuya Fujiwara.
• Cowboy BeBop at His Computer: The Microsoft store page for the film inexplicably swapped the description with that of The Wind Rises.
• In Memoriam: The film was dedicated to franchise creator Monkey Punch.
• Role Reprise: GKIDS, TMS Entertainment's U.S. office and NYAV Post teamed up to bring the English cast members from Part 4 and Part 5 back, despite the switch in studio & ADR directors (Richard Epcar, however, did the script adaptation for the film, as he has done with the franchise's recent series installments) from the dubs of those shows. NYAV founder Michael Sinterniklaas and frequent collaborator Stephanie Sheh being the directors for this film (Interestingly, not the first time either of the two has worked on the Lupin franchise either, as they also respectively did voicework for Parts 4 and 5, Sheh also appearing in the The Woman Called Fujiko Mine spin-off).
• Two Voices, One Character: Kanichi Kurita plays Lupin III and Mitsuru Takakuwa plays his Hitler disguise. This is carried over to the various foreign dubs.
