Magnum Opus Dissonance: Just Getting Started was a passion work by Mike Reno, with songs and themes he'd been clamoring to write for years, and it finally came out... and sold poorly. Reno was very disheartened by it, so much so that songs from the album haven't been played live in over a decade since its release.
What Could Have Been: "Lovin' Every Minute of It" was originally written by Matt Lange for Def Leppard , but had been in hold as the band was on hiatus at the time. He gave it to Loverboy as they were looking around for one more track for their album.
