• California Doubling: The Boston scenes were filmed in Toronto, while the English scenes were filmed in Dublin.
• Dawson Casting: Rosie, Alex and Bethany at 18 years of age are played by Lily Collins (24), Sam Claflin (28) and Suki Waterhouse (22). Of course, the actors portray the characters over the course of twelve years, so by the end Alex is roughly the same age as the actor portraying him. Sally between the ages of 19 and 24 is likewise played by Tamsin Egerton (26).
