Trivia / Léonard le Génie

• Creator-Driven Successor: Robin Dubois, another Turk & Degroot comic books series, predates Léonard le Génie by a couple years. Both series are comedy set in a historical era full of deliberate anachronisms, and their premises is basically "parody of a medieval/Renaissance figure" (Robin Dubois is more or less to the Robin Hood legend what Léonard le Génie is to Leonardo da Vinci). Interestlingly, Léonard himself is an expy of a minor character from the earlier series (an eccentric inventor/wizard named Mathusalem).
