Trivia / Last Ounce of Courage

  • Box Office Bomb: Budget: never disclosed. Box office: $3 million. While that might not sound bad, considering that the film was advertised through national television (and through a robocall campaign), as opposed to most Christian films which normally rely on word-of-mouth, this was probably a serious financial loss for the distributor.
  • Creator Killer: This film was part of a series of bombs that led to conservative film distributor Rocky Mountain Pictures nearly collapsing. In 2016, the company was sold, and re-launched as an urban and genre film distributor, with their first film under this tenure amusingly being a stoner comedy.
  • Dueling Works: With Christmas with a Capital C; both Christian films were released a few years apart (Capital C in 2010, Courage in 2012) but nevertheless deal with the alleged "War on Christmas".
  • He Also Did: Marshall Teague, who plays Bob Revere, is best known for playing Jimmy, The Dragon of the Big Bad in Road House. (Him of "I used to fuck guys like you in prison!" fame.)
