• Descended Creator: Writer-director David Sandberg as Kung Fury himself, and producer Eleni Young-Antonia in a smaller role as Barbarianna.
• Fake American: Some of the cast, with the guy on the cell phone being the most obvious example.
• The Foreign Subtitle:
  • Poland: Kung Fury: The Fists of Time
• No Budget: Made on a $600,000 budget that was raised on Kickstarter (which was actually triple what the studio actually budgeted to make the movie), which only makes it high budget by the standards of other deliberately So Bad, It's Good movies like Attack of the Killer Tomatoes! (Which had a $100,000 budget).
• The Other Marty: The Kickstarter demo which, according to the director, was taken from the almost fully produced movie, has a different actress for Katana compared to the final release. The implication is that they swapped out the actress and reshot her scenes.
