  • Acting for Two: In the Mexican Spanish dub, Hathi and Louie are voiced by Rommy Mendoza, and Mowgli and young Baloo by Diana Santos.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: DVD's and VHS copies of this show are very sparse. All of the episodes are currently available on YouTube, except Shere Bliss, The Great Kaadini, and Hulla Baloo, which have been blocked worldwide by Disney. It's currently available for pay-per-view on YouTube, iTunes, Google Play and Amazon Instant Video (though, ironically, not Disney+ yet).
  • One-Book Author: Tyler Mullen, who voiced Mowgli in the VHS scenes, had no other credits. He doesn't even have an IMDb profile.
  • The Other Darrin: Justified for advancing 3 of the characters to match them growing up.
  • Remake Cameo: A curious case happens in the Mexican Spanish dub, and also overlaps with Acting for Two: Both Mowgli and young Baloo are voiced by Diana Santos, who also reprised the role of Mowgli from the original film.
  • Role Reprise:
    • The VHS releases available in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand feature wraparound segments where the grown-up versions of the main characters interact with Mowgli. In these segments, Baloo, King Louie, and Shere Khan are again voiced by Ed Gilbert, Jim Cummings, and Tony Jay from TaleSpin.
    • In the Mexican dub of those VHS releases, adult Baloo is voiced by Ruben Moya, who reprised the role from TaleSpin. The same goes for Shere Khan, who was voiced by the late Carlos Petrel. Lastly, Mowgli is once again voiced by Diana Santos, reprising her role from the original film.
    • In the French dub, Kaa (both as a kid and as an adult) is once again voiced by Roger Carel, reprising his role from the original film. As for adult Baloo and Shere Khan in the VHS releases, they're voiced by Benoît Allemane and Gabriel Cattand respectively, both of them reprising their roles from TaleSpin.
  • Same Voice Their Entire Life: The other cubs sound like actual kids/adolescents but young Kaa has the same Winnie the Pooh-esque voice as his adult self (as he's voiced by Jim Cummings, who went on to voice adult Kaa in his later appearances).
