• Inspiration for the Work: About halfway through this interview, developer Paul Helman says his game has been inspired by the film Being There, about a character who knows nothing of the world and still gets elevated to high places despite himself. Notably, both Chance the gardener and Horace's employer is only known as "The Old Man" and their adventures begin when the Old Man dies.
