• Creator Backlash: For Jet Li, who publically apologized to Jackie Chan for his involvement in the film. Chan previously had a falling out with director Wong Jing in City Hunter, and Chan was livid seeing a Shallow Parody of himself in this film, which also parodied his father Charles Chan and agent Willie Chan (no relations), and implied that he doesn't perform his own stunts.^note For context, Chan injured himself shooting the skateboard chase of City Hunter, and had to be doubled for most of that sequence, and part of the final fight with Richard Norton.
