• Spoiled by the Format: A downplayed version but due that Sinister Man publishes chunks of chapters in his discord channel for editing, means that it's possible that tropes might end up in this page before the chapters are "officially" released.
  • The first Prologue reveals that at the end of Year 4 Harry has been adopted by Sirius and that he, the Potters, Sirius, Snape, Dumbledore, Theo, and possibly Neville are all definitively alive, and that like in canon Voldemort was revived in the Little Hangleton graveyard after the Third Task
  • The character tags on one of the fanfic websites for Harry Potter and the Death Eater Menace serve a rather large spoiler for the events of Harry Potter and the Secret Enemy seeing as the very fact that Regulus Black is alive and active in the plot of the story is a major plot twist.
