- Completely Different Title:
- In Brazil, the film is called Desejo de Vingança ("Desire for Revenge"). In some releases, it's The Foreign Subtitle.
- In France, Un colt pour trois salopards ("A colt for three bastards").
- In Germany, In einem Sattel mit dem Tod ("In a Saddle with Death").
- Several different titles in Greece: I agriógata tou Gouést ("West's Wildcat"), Oi atíthasoi ("The Unruly") and I atíthasi ("Disobedience").
- In Japan, Onna ganman-Minagoroshi no merodi ("Woman Gunman - Melody of Massacre").
- In Sweden, Jakten på bröderna Clemens ("The Hunt for the Clemens Brothers").
- In Turkey, İntikam meleği ("Angel of Vengeance").
- Argentina and Italy share their title, which translates into "The Texan and the Penitence Brothers", seemingly taking liberties with translating the Clemens brothers' name.
- Sex Sells: Both Paramount (the US distributor) and producers Tigon Pictures took advantage of the star's beauty on the poster. The British poster was a LOT more blatant.
- Uncredited Role:
- Stephen Boyd has a brief, uncredited appearance as a gunfighter known simply as the "Preacher".
- Director Burt Kennedy re-wrote the screenplay, but was not credited.
