  • Accidentally-Correct Writing: In the review of Solo, Mike conjectures that when George Lucas was writing the script to A New Hope, he didn't know what a parsec was. The review cuts to Obi-Wan giving Han an incredulous stare, implying Obi-Wan finds the claim as ridiculous as Mike does. However, what Lucas actually wrote in the script for Obi-Wan's reaction shot to "twelve parsecs" was "Ben reacts to Solo's stupid attempt to impress them with obvious misinformation." Meaning that Mike accidentally got Lucas' correct intention across without realizing it.
  • Corpsing:
    • During Mike's Captain Obvious description of White House Down, he concludes, "Thank you, Roland Emmerich! I hope someone shoves a club up your ass!" then giggles out of character.
    • In their Godzilla vs. Kong review, Mike tries to describe a trope he calls the "'Oh no, what's next?' look", where a character hears something scary and slowly turns towards it with a frightened expression on their face. He ends up bursting into laughter every time he attempts to act it out.
  • Creator Backlash: Their interview with Max Landis was delisted after the numerous sexual assault allegations came to light. An In Case of X, Break Glass gag was also adjusted in a later episode to remove its relation to Landis.
  • The Danza: Mike Stoklasa and Jay Bauman as Mike and Jay. Also, almost every character played by Rich Evans is named Rich, with the exception of the various Plinketts.
  • Milestone Celebration: The 100th Episode: The Force Awakens.
  • Missing Episode:
    • Episode 46, Warm Bodies/Movie 43, has yet to be re-uploaded in its entirety since RLM's switch from Blip to the YouTube format. This may be because of the opening skit featuring Jay announcing he has a new girlfriend and Mike referring to her as the "Yoko Ono" of the VCR repair shop (for which Jay mocks him), which was a dig at fans saying that about Mike's girlfriend Jessi, who had started appearing on-camera in Best of the Worst at the time. The "review" of Movie 43 was edited out of the full episode and posted as a standalone HitB skit to YouTube, which even the official website links to as the 46th "episode" of the show.note
    • The fake review for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has been taken down twice due to being flagged as "misleading content". Red Letter Media responded by putting a Stealth Insult towards the flaggers in the Cold Open of their real review of the movie.
    • Their trifecta of fake Transformers: The Last Knight reviews were also taken down, as they were about a minute of content and twenty to sixty minutes of black.
    • Their "A conversation with Max Landis" video has been delisted from their channel, for reasons certainly related to the allegations Landis raped and abused women.
  • Throw It In!: In Episode 45 Mike suddenly bursts out laughing, which was kept because it's so unexpected.
