• Dawson Casting: The teenage characters are fifteen at least, going by the number of candles on Cynthia's birthday cake, but Holly Gauthier-Frankel and Eleanor Noble (Rikki and Emma's voice actresses respectively) were in their thirties), Daniel Brochu (Lewis' voice actor) was in his forties, and Sonja Ball (Cleo's voice actress) was in her late fifties.
• Fake Nationality: The characters are Americans (in theory given the Mayan treasure reference in one episode), the voice cast is Canadian.
• International Co Production: The show was a co-production between Australia, Canada and France.
• Quietly Cancelled: The show had its Season 2 episodes air on July 15, 2015. Though it clearly wasn't intended to be the final season of the series, the show was not renewed for another season with barely any official announcement on its status.
