- Playing Against Type:
- Aoi Yūki, a.k.a. Madoka Kaname, is in this show. But she's not Mangetsu. She's Suishou... the conniving, manipulative psychopath. This is less of a leap than you might think, since she has voiced a wide range of character types, but in a show heavily inspired by Madoka Magica, it's a surprising casting choice.
- Yōko Hikasa is in a similar situation. While she is known to be a versatile voice actress, she is usually remembered either for having a calm, mature voice that works for good guys and bad guys alike, or a more energetic and childish voices for younger characters and less serious shows. Which is why it's surprising to hear her voicing the Ax-Crazy Screaming Warrior Anna.
- Production Posse: Most of the crew previously worked on Re:Zero.
- What Could Have Been: Staff have shared a few things on Twitter that were left on the cutting room floor, such as ARMANOX being human-constructed
